This private luxury river house with a hot tub and two fireplaces is located on a secure private wildlife estate near Pont de Vaal. The property offers an elevated view over the Vaal River and can accommodate up to 8 guests, making it ideal for families and adults seeking comfort, privacy, security, and a close connection to nature. Situated on a raised stand just 35 metres from the river near Parys and Vanderbijlpark, the home is surrounded by mature trees, abundant birdlife, and complete tranquillity. Guests can also enjoy the many activities and recreational facilities available within the estate.
The house features 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The main and second bedrooms are each furnished with a king-size bed and have en-suite bathrooms fitted with a bath, basin, and toilet. The third bedroom has a single bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The fourth bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, while the fifth bedroom contains a single bed; these two bedrooms share a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet.
The well-designed layout offers spacious living areas with beautiful views of the Vaal River and the surrounding landscape, creating a comfortable and relaxing environment for both entertaining and unwinding. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The dining and lounge areas feature comfortable seating and cosy fireplaces, with a TV in the main living room.
Guests enjoy direct access to the river via private steps and a footpath. Two rowing boats are available for exploring the river, and a small unsinkable pontoon boat with a new 5 hp outboard motor can be used at an additional cost. The property is well known for excellent fishing and frequent sightings of fish eagles and owls that often perch on the roof in the evenings.
