Roggevlei Farmhouse is a beautiful historic farmhouse set on a tranquil farm 45 km from the town of Ceres. Nestled in a picturesque valley surrounded by mountains, the farm offers guests a peaceful retreat with scenic countryside beauty and patchwork of farmland.
This farmhouse offers 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeping space for up to 10 people sharing. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a double bed, and the third bedroom has two single beds. These rooms share the second full bathroom. There are also two sleeper couches in the shared living areas.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, gas stove, gas oven, microwave, crockery and cookware. The house also features an indoor braai.
Guests at Roggevlei can enjoy the farm lifestyle. Go hiking in the mountains, enjoy the large collection of books in the house, or cycle along the farm roads. Experience the wildlife and birdlife. There is a 4x4 route on the neighbouring farm Merino, 25 km away. The Zip Slide in Ceres is very popular. SIP (coffee shop and bakery) in the Agter Witzenberg Valley is a lovely Saturday outing. A day trip to the Tankwa Padstal via Katbakkies makes for a great day excursion.
