Description
Safari Lodge Home is a solid log home with valley and mountain views, situated in Glencairn, just 2 km from the beach. This 2-bedroom home offers a safari lodge feeling in the suburbs.
Downstairs is the open-plan kitchen and living area, a spare bedroom with an en-suite toilet and shower. Upstairs is the loft which is the main sleeping area. The home caters to a maximum of 4 adults in a double bed in the loft, and 2 guests in the downstairs spare bedroom. The loft area also comprises a bath, shower, basin and enclosed toilet. Views of False Bay and mountains can be seen from the loft bedroom windows.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge, a 4-plate gas stove, oven, a microwave, food processors and all necessary cutlery. The lounge has a TV with full DStv and a DVD player. There is a lovely balcony off the lounge, an ideal spot to enjoy the view. The natural bird life enjoy being fed from the balcony, and porcupines may visit from the mountains in the early evenings. The area is peaceful and the house is secure with a full home alarm system. There is an adjoining flatlet on the property which is occupied.
All the lights, the TV, DStv, the security system, and Wi-F- run off a solar-powered battery system, so if and when loadshedding occurs, guests won't even notice it as there is also a gas stove in the kitchen.
