Description
Saints Rest is a self-catering house located on a quiet cul-de-sac in the Clarens Golf and Trout Estate, just off the R712 near Clarens and the Golden Gate Highlands National Park. Clarens is part of the scenic Highlands Route and is surrounded by mountains.
The house accommodates 8 guests and features 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. Each bedroom has a king-size bed, or 2 single beds can be provided on request. There is an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, or a shower only. A mattress with linen can be added for a child at an additional cost.
The spacious kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. There is also a breakfast bar with seating for 4. The dining area seats 8 guests. The living room has a comfortable lounge suite, a wood-burning fireplace, and a TV with Netflix, YouTube, and DStv. WiFi is also available.
The house is very spacious and opens out both front and back onto covered patios with beautiful views of the Maluti Mountains. The front patio has a large braai area, a dining table for 8, and a seating area for guests to relax. The back patio has a large lounge where guests can sit and watch the sunset.
Activities in Clarens include horse riding, abseiling, hiking, fishing, rafting, and golf. On weekends, music performances are often held.
