Billion stars rating. We were far off the grid, out of the ordinary, peaceful stay under the stars, and wow did Gannakouriep in the Ai-Ai Richtersveld Transfrontier Park deliver. After a long hard drive over rocks and deep sand, the most amazing accommodations appeared from nowhere. The host welcomed us and left us after making sure we were sorted.

A badly managed place with lots of potential. It is disappointing when a place is managed badly. Cutlery and crockery are dirty. No globe in bedside lamp. Bathroom is dirty. Bathroom curtains are dirty. Shower pipes are not fitted to the wall. The worst of all is that the camp supervisor has 2 hunting dogs, resulting in no wildlife around the camp.
