Description
Lunsklip Lodge is a perfect family and friends getaway. The lodge, with its sloping lawn to one of the 3 adjacent dams, has plenty of space to run around and enough rooms inside to hide away and relax. Lunsklip Lodge is accessed via a 3.9 km stretch of dirt road. High clearance vehicles are recommended. The lodge is a 3-bedroom house. Each bedroom has twin 3-quarter beds, with 1 bedroom also having a bunk bed for kids. All the bedrooms have heaters and all the beds, except the bunk bed, have electric blankets. All bedding is provided. 1 bedroom has a shower en suite. There are 2 other bathrooms, 1 with a shower and 1 with a bath. Bath towels, soap and toilet paper are provided. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, 4-plate electric stove-oven and a coal stove. There is a dining room. The lounge has a fireplace with wood provided. There is an outside built-in braai but charcoal is not provided.

Cellphone reception is weak at all the cottages.
Guests need to provide their own charcoal.
Fridays to Sundays cottages are charged at a minimum of a 3 guests per cottage per night.
No smoking inside.
No pets.
Santa Estate is a working cattle farm so we request that all gates are left as you found them.

The Glen is accessed via a 4.1 km stretch of dirt road. High clearance vehicles are recommended, but 4x4s are not necessary.
Children aged between 0 and 2 stay free.
Children aged between 3 and 12 pay 50% of the sharing rate.
Santa Estate is one of the original trout fishing destination in the Dullstroom area and offers to 6 km of the Lunsklip stream, 12 still-water dams and 18 weirs. The combination of river, dam and weir fishing along with strict limitations on the amount of rods allowed at any one time makes the Estate one of the premiere fishing destinations in Highlands.
Fishing is limited to members of the Santa Fly Fishing syndicate. Permits for fishing can be arranged separately for guests that are staying on the farm, however this must be in done in advance and will incur a separate daily fishing fee of R 400 per rod per day. Fishing on Santa Estate is governed in accordance with the syndicate’s rules and regulations. If you are interested in fishing some of Dullstroom's best waters please contact the Syndicate coordinator directly for rates and rules.
The owners shall not be liable for any death, injury, illness or disease sustained or suffered by any member, his or her spouse, dependent or invitee or for theft, loss or damage to any property occurring or arising from a visit to Santa or arising from the use of any facility supplied or made available, howsoever arising, notwithstanding the fact that such act or omission may constitute negligence and/or gross negligence on the part of the owners, their employees, agents, servants or representatives and notwithstanding that it may have been outside the course and scope of their employment by or their relationship with the owners. Guests on their own behalf and on behalf of their spouses, dependents and invitees waive all and any claims of any nature whatsoever which they may have against the owners, their employees, agents, servants or representatives and whether arising out of delict or contract or out of the negligent (including gross negligence) acts or omissions of the owners, their employees, agents, servants or representatives. Guests hereby indemnify the owners, their employees, agents, servants or representatives against any claim of whatever nature which any member, his or her dependant, spouse or invitee may sustain in connection with or arising from a visit to Santa and for the use of any facility supplied or made available, notwithstanding that such loss, liability, damage or expense may have arisen as a result of any act or omission, whether negligent (including gross negligence) or otherwise, on the part of the owners, their employees, agents, servants or representatives. Guests shall not have any claim or right of action whatsoever against the owners for any damages, loss or otherwise, nor be entitled to withhold or defer payment of any amounts payable in terms of this agreement by reason of the premises or any appurtenances in the premises being in a defective condition or falling into disrepair of any particular repairs not being effected by the owners.

Description
The Glen is the most remote of Santa's 3 cottages, with vistas of forests, mountains and a large dam. Enjoy a cosy weekend with long walks, feeling like you're the only people in the world. The Glen is accessed via a 4.1 km stretch of dirt road. High clearance vehicles are recommended, but 4x4s are not necessary. The cottage has 3 en-suite bedrooms, each with twin 3-quarter beds. 2 of the bathrooms have both a shower and bath, while the 3rd bathroom has only a shower. A sleeper couch is available for kids. All bedding, toweling, soap and toilet paper is provided. Each bedroom has a heater and every bed has an electric blanket. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, 4-plate electric stove-oven and a coal stove. The open-plan lounge and dining room has a large fireplace, with wood provided. There is a Weber but charcoal is not provided.
