Privacy: We believe in giving our guests total privacy. We generally practice a "self-check-in" style and will typically not interact face-to-face unless requested. We are both working professionals operating from the main house above the apartment, so we are often in sessions during the day.

House Sounds: Owenly House is a lived-in home. As we live directly above the apartment, you may occasionally hear us moving about during the day. We are mindful of your peace, but we wanted to mention the house's natural acoustics, so you feel at home.

How to Reach Us: For the fastest response, please message us through the booking platform. We check these messages throughout the day and will respond promptly between sessions.

Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment, but guests may smoke in the outdoor entertainment area. On arrival, please park in the designated area in front of the top garage and ensure your vehicle is within the marked lines. If you have a second car, please let us know. Your key and remote are located in the lockbox at the front gate, and the code will be shared prior to arrival. Use the brown button on the remote to open and close the gate.

The alarm is controlled using the blue button on the remote. If the blue light is on, please press the button to disarm it before entering or going outside, and press it again when leaving to arm the system. Please remember to disarm the alarm before going outside. To access the apartment, follow the path from the gate, up the stairs, turn left at the Guest Entrance sign, and continue down the garden stairs. The apartment door is on the right.

At night, you may arm the alarm using the blue button, which will protect the outside areas while you move freely inside. If it activates, simply press the blue button to disarm it. Outdoor lights are controlled inside the lounge and main bedroom, as well as near the entrance, and some lights are on timers. In case of load shedding, solar power keeps lights and WiFi on, but plug points may be limited. Please avoid using high-power appliances during outages.

Please use water responsibly during your stay. Towels and linen are changed weekly for longer stays. Check-out is at 10:00. Please close all doors and windows, return the key and remote to the lockbox, and do a final check for your belongings. Bed stripping is not required.
