Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R1 000 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

A refundable key deposit is required and must be paid before arrival. The stove operates on gas, and the oven must be ignited manually; please bring a lighter. In case of a power trip, breakers are located inside (garage and spare bathroom) and outside (driveway and across the road) to reset the electricity. Guests are asked not to leave the air conditioner running when the room is unoccupied; fans are sufficient to keep the house cool. Hot water runs on gas but requires electricity to ignite. Solar and portable lights, as well as rechargeable bedside globes, should be charged while the power is on.

Firewood, Wi-Fi, and watersport equipment are available at an additional cost. Firewood can be pre-ordered or paid directly to Petrus. Guests should bring mosquito repellent, charcoal or wood with firelighters, torches, and toilet paper.

Pets must be arranged in advance and are not allowed in the hot tub area; a pet fee applies. Only approved guests and pets are allowed on the premises. Guests are responsible for the property and its contents during their stay and must report any damage immediately.

Parking is available in front of the house. Smoking is permitted only outdoors on the balcony or veranda. Fires may be made only in the designated braai area and must be fully extinguished before leaving. Guests must respect quiet hours and check-in and check-out times. Lost keys incur a replacement fee. Furniture may not be moved, and illegal substances are prohibited. Security cameras are installed for when guests are away and are switched off during stays unless requested otherwise.
