Silverlake Cabin is a contemporary styled, self-catering cabin with uninterrupted Wilderness views of Island Lake, the Serpentine River and the expansive surrounding mountain range towards Hoekwil and beyond.
The spacious and well-appointed cabin offers open-plan living and is furnished with a queen-size bed. French doors open out onto the expansive deck. The bathroom is elegantly concealed behind barn-style doors and is fitted with a shower, a basin, and a toilet. The open-plan, well-equipped kitchen contains a 2-plate gas hob, a microwave, an eye-catching red fridge with a water dispenser, and a selection of crockery and utensils.
Foldback doors open from the lounge and kitchen area to the outdoor deck with its loungers and barstool seating area, which also boasts a separate braai deck and viewing seat, situated to the side of the cabin.
To add to the experience of staying at the cabin, yoga mats and outdoor towels are provided, along with a hairdryer and generous blankets for cooler evenings. The Cabin is also equipped with an inverter system that allows the continued use of most electrical points during power outages, including Wi-Fi with good upload and download speeds, allowing for convenient remote working with a spectacular view.
Silverlake Cabin is a gem for outdoor enthusiasts, nature lovers, birders, photographers, or those seeking peace and quiet or a secluded romantic break to recharge and restore.
Silverlake Cabin is also ideally located for exploring the abundance of weekend markets in George, Wilderness, and Sedgefield, together with paragliding, canoeing, hiking, beaches, and the quaint village of Wilderness, all within a few minutes' drive away, as are neighbouring Garden Route towns and adventure spots.
