Refreshing getaway. Here we were able to really switch off and just be in nature for the first time in a long time. You crave this type of getaway and it was just what we needed. In the Faraway Cottage we were able to stay calm, go for walks in the hills and beautiful hiking trails with our dogs, fall asleep late with only the sound of the birds and frogs outside, breathe in the fresh air, braai in nature, make a fire inside on the cold autumn evenings, and most importantly, turn off and put our phones away. Mountain views, silence and peace far from any hub-bub. This was our third stay in this stunning, isolated location. We love the silence, expansive views, the walks and the two solid, characterful cottages.
