Slypsteen Accommodation offers self-catering chalets in the town of Vollgraaffsig near Groblershoop in the Northern Cape, approximately 90 km from Upington. The guest farm is situated on a small mountain overlooking the Orange River Valley.
Accommodation comprises 7 self-catering chalets with open-plan layouts. Each chalet includes a sleeping area and a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The kitchenette is equipped with a stove and microwave, and each unit has braai facilities. Additional in-unit facilities include air-conditioning and a TV.
On-site facilities include a communal seasonal swimming pool and a braai area. The property also features a function hall and a chapel that can accommodate up to 120 guests for events. The farm is built on a rocky hill and is not wheelchair accessible.
The surrounding area offers opportunities for hiking and mountain biking, and the property provides views of the Orange River, nearby vineyards and the surrounding landscape.
