Situated in Donkerhoek, Soetwaters Gastehuis has 4 luxurious guest rooms and a cosy stone cottage at the foot of a hill, east of Pretoria.
Each guest room offers its own private little patio and entrance, king size beds with gel-memory-foam mattress toppers or quality single beds, free wifi, internet TV with Netflix and is semi self-catering with a coffee station, some cutlery, a small fridge and microwave.
The self-catering cottage offers 2 bedrooms that are furnished with a queen-size bed as well as 2 single beds. The 2 rooms share the use of a bathroom with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery, as well as cooking utensils. Even though the unit is self-catering, a continental breakfast is available on request. Guests can also relax in the lounge which is equipped with a TV with DStv.
The cottage is fenced, and guests are welcome to bring their pets or horses; with prior arrangement.
Please note Soetwaters Gastehuis is a non-smoking establishment.
Soetwaters Gastehuis is adjacent to a nature reserve and if guests are lucky, they will be able to see the wildlife by the fence or see and hear the eagles and Egyptian geese at the nearby dam. The cottage is located near various wedding venues such as Galagos, Diamond Hill, Mooiplaatsie, Casa Lee, The Rustic Rose, Die Akker and Rosemary Hill.
