Exactly what we were looking for. Somerlust was a stopover for us on our way back to Gauteng from our destination in the Western Cape and was exactly what we expected and needed. We arrived very late and despite their check-in times they still made it easy and pleasant for us to move in and out. Thank you for that!

Rustic beauty and tranquility. We had the most wonderful stay at Sommerlust Manor. We stayed in the cosy Pool Cabin, which gives direct access to the large but rustic pool. The Manor is a historic site with lovely gardens and a wonderful rustic atmosphere. The service is excellent and the hosts went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. It was an amazing experience staying at Sommerlust Manor. It was so amazing, the location of the accommodation is close to everywhere we needed to be and we didn't have to take long drives going to any place. The staff was so friendly and helpful and they had a complimentary drink upon arrival. The best part was that because it was so cold, the beds had electric blankets we could preheat before we slept.
