Squirrel's Nest Restaurant and Accommodation offers overnight accommodation for the weary traveller, and is situated on the R101 just outside the beautiful town of Mokopane. The name is derived from the many squirrels that frequently run around in the gardens. For a relaxing stay in bushveld surroundings with squirrels and bird life, Squirrels Nest is the place to stay.
Squirrel’s Nest offers accommodation in spacious Twin or Double, Self-catering and Family Rooms, all of which are air-conditioned and include a TV with a selection of DStv channels, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.
Squirrel’s Nest Restaurant and Farmyard is a fully licenced on-site restaurant that offers an a-la-carte menu of healthy farm-style meals and refreshments, and is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Relax in the bar before sitting down for your meal or wander outside to view the farmyard which boasts geese, exotic ducks, chickens and rabbits. Feed the goats or piglets. Be on the lookout for the squirrel’s running around in the trees.
Kids are welcome to enjoy the jungle gym and trampoline or play games in the playroom. Bring your children and leave to run around or ride the push bikes, while relaxing in the restaurant. There is ample space to play and run around.
There is ample secure parking available, and guests en-route to Kruger National Park, Botswana and Zimbabwe are welcome to bring along their caravan, boat or trailer.
