We were in Steenbras for 4 days and had a great time. All basic necessities are there with nice braai facilities and a small garden which is ideal for pets. The washing machine is also a big plus. Thanks for your review. Unfortunately, this is the challenge we struggle with here in Henties. The constant damp and wet climate. Can assure you we have tried to fix the leaks and had the place repainted recently. We always do a thorough clean after every guest has left. Unfortunately, it's not so easy just to remove a shower place because of one unhappy guest. The shower place may not be modern but it works perfectly fine. I had no bad reviews on my 2 bedroom regarding these problems you have mentioned, you are the first. But thanks for staying with us. Keep well

Good day Jandre, glad you had a good comfortable stay. Our 1 bedroom is more equipped for the overnight guests or is only staying a short while. The 2 bedroom is therefore more equipped with a stove /oven.
But thank you for bringing this to my attention. Each and every guest has different needs. I'm definitely going to put a small gas /electric oven in the 1 bedroom for future guests who might be needing it. I would like to keep everyone happy at the end of the day.

The chairs was Not broken it was just a little wobbly, which I took and fixed for you the same day.
February month has been a very hot and humid time in Henties Bay, unfortunately I cannot control the weather.
Regarding the slaai bakke, this is a self-catering accommodation. There is basic itinerary in the flats. If you asked for a slaai bak I would of given you one no problem.
The flats are cleaned thoroughly everytime before guests arrived and left spotless. Unfortunately I did not receive it back the same way after you left.
I will not elaborate on this to avoid you the embarrassment.
