Storyhouse is situated in the seaside village of Kommetjie on the Cape Peninsula, within proximity to Long Beach. The property is located approximately 40 km from Cape Town International Airport, the City Centre, the V&A Waterfront, and Robben Island. Nearby attractions include Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Groot Constantia, and Cape Point.
Accommodation is provided in a selection of self-catering units and B&B rooms. The Two-Bedroom Self-catering Unit comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and washbasin. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom contains bunk beds. The One-Bedroom Self-catering Unit is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. The B&B Room with Juliette Balcony contains a queen-size bed and a bathroom fitted with a corner bath with a shower-over-bath, toilet, and washbasin. The Skye Sternenlicht Room is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, washbasin, and heated towel rail.
The self-catering units each feature a well-equipped kitchen with a gas hob, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and coffee machine. The B&B rooms each contain a tea- and coffee-making station with a minibar fridge, coffee machine, and kettle. Free Wi-Fi access is provided in all units and rooms. Guests have access to a communal swimming pool, solar power system, and parking facilities. Private braai facilities are available at the self-catering units, while B&B guests can make use of the garden braai area by arrangement.
