Sunset Bliss offers simple, charming self-catering accommodation in Perlemoenbaai, situated between De Kelders and Gansbaai on the edge of Walker Bay. The property enjoys uninterrupted sea and mountain views, with regular sightings of whales and dolphins during the season, providing a relaxed coastal escape.
Accommodation is offered in 3 separate self-catering units, each with a private bathroom fitted with either a bath and shower combination or a shower only. Fresh linen and bath towels are provided, while guests are required to bring their own beach towels.
Each unit is equipped with a kitchen fitted with a fridge, gas stove, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge areas include comfortable seating and a TV with DStv, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
All units open onto private balconies with braai facilities and dining areas, positioned to take advantage of uninterrupted views over Walker Bay. The Dolphin Garden Apartment is the only pet-friendly unit and accommodates dogs.
Guests have access to the nearby coastal walkway via an adjacent easement, and the 7 km Duiwelsgat Trail runs from Gansbaai Harbour to Klipgat Caves in De Kelders. The area offers whale watching between June and December, along with hiking, mountain biking, wine routes, shark cage diving, fishing, and nearby attractions such as the Danger Point Lighthouse, Strandveld Museum, African Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary, Panthera Africa Big Cat Sanctuary, and Klipgat Caves. Sunset Bliss is located approximately 40 km from Hermanus and 20 km from Stanford.
