Description
Swannie Creek offers an entire private cottage with a large garden, a wood-fired hot tub and a natural bio-pool in the Elgin Valley near Grabouw, just over an hour’s drive from Cape Town. The cottage and its outdoor spaces are exclusively yours during your stay, with room for children to play, friends to gather and couples to enjoy the mountain views.
Spend time on the wrap-around covered deck, soak in the hot tub, or cool off in the natural bio-pool, filtered through aquatic plants without added pool chemicals. The garden has a braai area and a boma firepit for evenings outdoors, while an indoor fireplace makes cooler days comfortable. Pets are welcome by prior arrangement.
Wisteria Cottage sleeps up to 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, with 2 additional complimentary cots available for infants aged 0–3. Each bedroom can be arranged with a king-size bed or twin beds on request. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, and the second bathroom has a shower. Bed linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, microwave and dishwasher. The adjoining lounge includes a smart TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. Solar power supports the property’s off-grid setup, and secure covered parking is available on the premises.
Explore the Elgin Valley’s wine farms, hiking trails, mountain biking routes and farm stalls, or spend the day enjoying the cottage and garden.
