Description
Swannie Creek is a private nature retreat nestled in the heart of the Elgin Valley near Grabouw, just over an hour's drive from Cape Town. Surrounded by orchards, mountain views, and unspoilt countryside, this secluded sanctuary offers the ideal escape for couples, families, and small groups looking to unwind in nature.
The house can accommodate up to 6 adults and 2 infants in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into twin beds on request and features an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. The second and third bedrooms are each furnished with a king-size bed that can also be converted into twin beds. The second bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Two camping cots are available free of charge for infants aged 0 to 3 years. Linen and bath towels are provided.
The open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Guests can relax in the comfortable lounge, which features a smart TV with streaming services, an indoor fireplace, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
Outside, guests can soak in the private hot tub while enjoying mountain views, cool off in the unique natural bio-pool, gather around the boma firepit, or enjoy a meal on the patio with braai facilities. The tranquil setting also makes it an excellent spot for stargazing.
The Elgin Valley is renowned for its scenic hiking trails, mountain biking routes, wine farms, and local produce. Guests can also enquire about curated wine tour experiences that showcase some of the valley's finest estates.
