It was wonderful and clear directions. It was wonderful. One of the days was very cold; we had to sit around the fire to keep warm. I think the owner should consider fixing the fireplace as it was out of order. Otherwise, the place is beautiful.

Relaxing. Great break from city craziness.

Good, excepting what I mentioned above. Hi, Swartkop is a lovely place; however, there was no type of power source except for the small solar panel to operate their 1 battery for the lights. It was extremely hot and we could not have a fan on. Also note that there is no cell coverage at the lodge, which means we had no source of coverage at the facility in case of an emergency. They really need to have a look at that.

So peaceful for the soul. A lovely remote cottage in a beautiful spot. We were not sure if we could swim in the river due to water quality and currents. When the owner gave us the go ahead, it was awesome; the kids loved it.

Fun, relaxing and restful. Our stay was really nice and relaxing. We were not bothered by anyone during our stay. We were visited by some cows who lay under the shade trees. All in all, a very relaxing weekend in a very well equipped cottage!

Great getaway cottage. Great secluded cottage with a break from technology. Big space for kids to play and lots to do in the area.
