Inconvenient. Aside from the additional fees that I had a problem with below, there were other things I was unhappy with. The website page said that Aloe Ridge had a king-size bed, but when we got there, it was only a double bed. We had to incur additional costs to buy an air mattress because there was a special arrangement for our 18-month-old baby to sleep in the bed with us, and that definitely didn’t work on a double bed. There was no closet to store any clothes in, which was also incredibly inconvenient. There was little to no work space in the “kitchen,” and we had to go get takeout every night. The breadboard was still dirty. The microwave was so small that our bottle sterilizer wouldn’t even fit in it, and we had to make additional plans and incur additional costs. The unit also smelled of urine all weekend. On top of everything else, the lady who communicated with us was very rude and unhelpful. Positive: The man (security) who received us was friendly and helpful. We experienced nice weather for excursions. Unfortunately, I will not book at Aloe Ridge again.
