Thaba Noka offers self-catering accommodation on the owner’s farm that is situated within the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site, in the historical town of Ventertskroon, bordering the Vaal River. It is ideal for guests who are looking for a peaceful getaway where they can kick back and relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Accommodation offered in 3 free-standing units, the Fin and Feather Cottage, the Main House and Brian’s Cabin, each with their own private entrances and private bathrooms. In addition, each unit features comfortable beds, quality linen and bath towels, equipped kitchenettes, cosy lounging areas, a TV with DStv, and outdoor spaces with braai facilities.
Guests can enjoy a communal swimming pool, spacious gardens with outdoor seating, access to the Vaal River and there is a double-storey conferencing facility on the premises that features a conferencing room with seating, and a lounging area with a deck on the lower level, that can also be used for wedding events. Activities in the surrounding area include nature walks, hiking trails, fishing, canoeing, bird watching, and 4x4 routes. The neighbouring town of Parys is approximately 30 km away, while Potchefstroom is approximately 32 km away.
