Pennie and Ian Human are certainly some of the friendliest owners you can come across. Our expectations were far exceeded with the neat, well-equipped rooms, the beautiful gardens, clean swimming pool and the most delicious food. We have not been so spoiled with hospitality and a fabulous sheep on the spit on New Year's Eve, as well as socializing with other guests. Additionally, the bartender provided 5 star service. Exceptionally good value and great folks.

The Homestead is a home away from home, with well appointed rooms, undercover parking, cosy lounges with a big fire, a neat pub and scrumptious meals. Standing out above all was the warm hospitality and especially the incredibly good value. If there was any disappointment it was one thing only: we could see two strong "Homestead" WiFi signals, but they could not help us with getting connected. In today's world, travelers really require reaching their email, checking on business, weather, onward itineraries, bookings, etc. and to be without connectivity, yet knowing it was there, was a real frustration.
