Quiet, safe environment; very neat. We had a great stay. Gail made us feel very welcome. The only issue that needs to be addressed is the secure parking which is charged for. Nowhere on the website does it ask what type of vehicle it is and the parking is very small, so if we had gone with our bakkie we would not have been able to use the parking and the street in front of the studio is very narrow, so parking in front of the studio is not really an option; so you have to ask what size vehicle it is.

Lovely and well equipped room. The room that I received was very well equipped. For a business traveller, I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing that I want to mention is that the noise in the main house does travel far, so if you do not mind late-night phone calls, then this place is perfect.

Wonderful. I loved my stay, Gail was so helpful and showed me John Bauer's art collection, which I really appreciated. It was an absolute treat to see his journey as an artist and their story displayed within the John Bauer Guesthouse. I also got to meet the wonderful Jackson and get a few meows and purrs. My room was clean, artfully decorated and had a heater and spare fluffy blanket, which was totally necessary. I would definitely stay there again.
