Description
The Manor House is nestled on the slopes of the mountain above Sir Lowry’s Pass, situated along the Helderberg Wine Route in the Western Cape. This historic building, constructed in 1795, holds the distinction of being a national monument.
The Manor House comprises 5 bedrooms of which 3 is located on the bottom floor while the other 2 forms the Two Bedroom Family Suite on the top floor and can accommodate 2 guests in each room. The Two Bedroom Family Suite on the top floor has 2 bedrooms, each accommodating 2 guests.
The Garden Cottage located next to the Manor House is furnished with a double bed, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Sliding doors open onto a patio in a private garden.
Millers Cottage is a communal 4-bedroom cottage. The Cottage is separate from the main house and offers farm views. It comprises 2 budget loft bedrooms under a thatch roof with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and 2 bedrooms downstairs with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower over bath. The kitchen and living spaces are communal.
All guests have access to a communal braai area, the garden and the swimming pool.
The Manor primarily serves as a function venue, hosting weddings and events regularly on weekends and occasionally during the week. Please be aware that function guests may move around the premises during these events.
