Description
The Mermaid's Tail, Pringle Bay offers a relaxing seaside getaway for up to 8 guests and includes a wind sheltered enclosable deck with a built-in braai/BBQ, a swimming pool with adjoining club house and and a sunset deck with sweeping sea and mountain views. It is set in the charming coastal town of Pringle Bay and sis 600 meters from the beach an easy 10 minute walk. The entrance has a gently sloping ramp, so there are no stairs to access the front door and deck.
This Cape Cod-style house has 3 well-appointed double rooms and a separate small sunroom with two singe beds, separated from the lounge by glass sliding doors and curtains. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with showers and the 1 separate family bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are provided. All beach and bath towels are supplied as well as high-quality linen including goose down duvets. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and rusks are also provided.
The comfortable lounge has a wood-burning heater ideal for those chilly winter nights. The living space has a lounge, a dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. The house also has an outside deck which is fully enclosable with a built-in braai and a pool. The house features ceiling fans, panel heaters, a hairdryer, a fibre Wi-Fi connection and DStv. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge for emergency overflow accommodation for an extra 2 people and there is also a baby's travel cot available.
The house is a leisurely 10-minute stroll to the beach. The wooden entertainment deck have beautiful views of the sea looking towards Cape Point and the surrounding mountains. There are beautiful views of the sea over False Bay and towards Table Mountain and Cape Point from the western end of the deck, facing the sunset, where there is a drinks counter and bar stools. The outdoor area and pool has been designed to be sheltered from the strong summer winds and there is a 200 square meter games lawn in the fynbos garden, for volleyball, soccer or garden games on those windy days.
