House Rules

Noise expectations - we are located in a peaceful neighbourhood and we kindly ask all guests to be mindful of noise, especially early mornings and late evenings, so we can maintain a positive relationship with our neighbours.

Smoking - the apartment is strictly non‑smoking property. Smoking, including vaping or the use of e‑cigarettes, is not permitted inside the apartment. This helps us keep the space fresh, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.

Pet rules - Your pets are absolutely welcome - we love them! All we ask is that you help us look after the property by keeping an eye on them and cleaning up as needed.

Visitor/party policy - To keep things peaceful for everyone in the building, only registered visitors are allowed on the property, and parties or large gatherings aren’t permitted. Please make Derek aware of any visitors.

Rubbish & recycling instructions - Please place all rubbish in the designated bins, located in the rubbish block (first building on your left as you drive towards the main building).

Keys - the keys will be handed to you by our managing agent upon arrival and collected again at check‑out. The Mudbucket is a lock‑and‑go property, so you can come and go with ease during your stay. Please ensure that the patio sliding doors are locked when you are not at the property.

Monkeys - this is KZN, so please remember to close all windows when you are not in the property. The monkeys
are cunning little things and will make themselves at home when you are not in the property if windows are left open!

Swimming Pool - You are welcome to use the pool, located to the left of the walkway towards the beach. Please remember to rinse any sand off your feet before diving in.

Braai/Barbeque area - You are welcome to use the braai area, located on the first floor. Please ensure that the area is kept clean and tidy after use, so that all guests can benefit from this area. Leave it as you would wish to find it.
