Escape into nature at this charming off-grid cabin situated in the heart of the Garden Route, approximately 11 km from Sedgefield and 25 km from Knysna. Hand-crafted from reclaimed timber, doors, and windows, the cabin offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by indigenous fynbos and forest. Guests can enjoy the tranquillity of the natural surroundings while remaining within easy reach of popular attractions in the area.
The cabin comprises a loft-style bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed and can accommodate 2 guests. The outdoor bathroom is fitted with a bush shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. The open-plan living area features a 2-seater dining table, as well as a comfortable lounge with a clay egg fireplace. Mountain views can be enjoyed from the bedroom area, creating a relaxing atmosphere throughout the cabin.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a fridge, gas stove, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Guests can make use of the outdoor seating area and braai facilities while enjoying the privacy of this secluded hideaway. Free Wi-Fi and secure parking are also available.
Guests have access to a private hiking trail directly from the cabin, while a waterfall and natural rock pools can be reached within approximately 15 km. The cabin operates fully off the grid using solar energy and rainwater collection systems, and guests are encouraged to use resources mindfully during their stay.
