The Old Stone House @ Rivendell Trout Estate is a charming self-catering cottage nestled amongst other units, situated within the 'Farmstead' on Rivendell, bordering the horse paddocks, and is a mere 300 m walk to the river for those who want to go fishing.

The Old Stone House can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 3 bedrooms are each furnished with twin beds which can be converted into king-size beds. They share the use of 2 bathrooms, one fitted with a shower, and the other one with a bath and shower. Linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. It features a lovely dining space and further opens to the lounge furnished with comfy couches and a cosy fireplace.

The unit opens up to a patio with outdoor furniture, perfect for alfresco dining. This property is situated en route to the Kruger National Park and is centrally located for day visits to destinations such as Dullstroom, Bourke's Luck Potholes, Sudwala Caves, and Pilgrim's Rest.

This estate is part of the Mount Anderson Water Catchment Reserve, a vast conservancy that spans thousands of hectares. The reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including kudu, bushbuck, duiker, bush pigs, and baboons, which roam freely throughout the area. Visitors can often observe these animals grazing peacefully while they enjoy fly fishing for trout.
