The Ranch House at African Safari Lodge offers comfortable accommodation on a private game reserve located 17 km from Makhanda (Grahamstown). The property provides a peaceful retreat for families and guests and is within easy reach of local attractions and towns.
The property offers accommodation in 3 rooms, which can also be booked as a whole on a self-catering basis for larger groups. Each bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted to 2 single beds and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower or bath facilities. Additionally, each room features a hairdryer and electric blankets.
On-site facilities include a communal lounge area with a fireplace and a separate dining room. The spacious verandah boasts a braai area and enjoys a beautiful view over the plain, where guests can spot a variety of animals and birdlife, including zebra, buffalo, and antelope. Guests are also afforded secure undercover parking on the premises.
Game drives, boat cruises, and guided bass fishing are offered on this reserve. In the surrounding area, there are many attractions and activities available. The local area features a range of natural wonders and outdoor activities, including hiking, bird watching, and wildlife safaris.
