Description

The Sabie Town House Guest Lodge is located in Sabie, a small, relaxed and friendly town set among the pine covered Drakensberg mountains of Mpumalanga. Guests are given a warm personal welcome to a lovely, distinctive home, constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning natural beauty of the Sabie Gorge.

Accommodation is available in 9 guest suites, of which 7 are double room and 2 are family units which are able to accommodate up to 5 guests. The emphasis of these spacious rooms is to offer guests comfort and a place to relax and feel at home. All have a separate private entrance and the majority overlook the lush gardens.

The establishment is pet friendly, by arrangement, and sumptuous breakfasts are served each morning to start your day with energy and vigour. From the verandah you can catch a glimpse of the hyrax enjoying the early morning sunshine, the occasional fish eagle calling, pretty little sunbirds flitting from flower to flower sipping nectar, and we have even been lucky enough to have a hippo wander by. Or you may like to take a short stroll with a bottle of chilled wine across open bushveld at sunset to sit on the rocks and admire the gorge and river below.
