Description
The Townhouse, situated in the historic town of Graaff-Reinet, can be found on a quiet street off one of the main roads. It is a historic building, replete with original features such as yellowwood floors and an extensive garden with a large vegetable garden and fruit trees.
Accommodation comprises 4 bedrooms suited to accommodate 6 adults, and 2 children in a bunk room. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second bedroom contains a king-size bed. The third bedroom and bathroom is in a separately restored outbuilding accessed through French doors from the mainhouse via the courtyard. The fourth bedroom leads from the king room, and has a bunk bed suited for 2 children. The kitchen is equipped with everything guests will need for self-catering purposes, including a fridge-freezer combination, stove, oven as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. The sitting room features comfortable seating, as well as a fireplace for those cold winter nights.
Outside, there is a large veranda with comfortable outdoor furniture and braai facilities.
The Townhouse is a short walk from shops, museums, and restaurants. The owners' farm is just outside of Graaff-Reinet where guests can enjoy bird watching, hiking and mountain biking. These activities are only available by prior arrangement.
