Description

Toad Tree Cabins offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in the peaceful bushveld of Sodwana Bay, ideal for a romantic getaway or family holiday.

The accommodation consists of various fully equipped self-catering cottages, sleeping 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12 guests. Each unit has its own braai facilities and a campfire. The 2- and 3-sleeper en-suite rooms share a kitchen and lounge in the boma, while each unit has its own fridge and bathroom. There are also power outlets, fans, and linen, and the units are serviced daily.

The lodge is less than an hour’s drive from several Big 5 game reserves, including Mkhuze, Ndumo, Phinda, Tembe Elephant Park, and Hluhluwe/iMfolozi. Mkhuze Game Reserve, just 30 km away, is known for its antelope, endangered nyalas, and animals such as servals, cheetahs, wild dogs, lions, and elephants, as well as excellent birdlife with over 420 species.

After a day of adventure, guests can unwind with sundowners by the pool or gather around the campfire for a braai. Sodwana Bay offers excellent diving opportunities on pristine coral reefs, and guests are warmly invited to experience the bushveld atmosphere and African spirit.
