Roaring Sky Base Camp is nestled within a private conservancy, bordered on the South Eastern side of the Dinokeng Big Five Game Reserve next to Kevin Richardson’s Lion Sanctuary. Here you can take a break away from the stress of the city and find tranquillity in the bush, on a game farm, only 35 km north of Pretoria.

Accommodation includes 6 thatched chalets and 4 single en-suite bush lodges

The fully licensed restaurant on the farm, which offers scrumptious à la carte meals, specialised coffees and a lounge area with DStv facilities, available upon request. Relax on the deck outside, looking at an amazing sunset whilst listening to the lions roaring in the background.

Facilities on site include a warm and welcoming boma, which can accommodate larger groups, and has a large braai area. Guests can book at the bush spa salons under thatch or, at extra cost, enjoy the Jacuzzis in the open. Please note that we drain the Jacuzzi and refill it. The Jacuzzi requires at least six hours to heat up, and the price is for the first hour; after that, the charge is per hour. There are also 2 swimming pools available.

Activities that can be enjoyed on-site include game viewing, bird watching and game drives, or you can simply relax and read a book, or rest and sleep whilst Jackal’s call.
