Description
Overlooking the dam and farm, Troutmere is a spacious self-catering house of up to 8 people on a working Senepol cattle farm between Belfast and Dullstroom.
The double-storey house comprises 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a kitchen, a loft, and a living area that opens onto a stoep with views of the dam. Each of the bedrooms is furnished with king-size beds, and has a wood-burning fireplace, with a view of the dam or farm. The rooms each has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a bath, and a toilet. An additional single bed is available in the loft for an adult or a child. For convenience, towels, a gas heater, and firewood are provided.
The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove and oven, a microwave, a fridge-freezer, an espresso machine, as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities, and guests can enjoy their meals at the 8-seater dining table.
The spacious lounge has a central fireplace, and opens onto the covered stoep which is equipped with gas braai, a normal braai, and an outdoor dining table, all of which overlooking the dam. The loft is comfortably furnished and equipped with a TV with limited DStv channels. To view more channels, guests are welcome to bring their decoder, remote and smart card to view more channels.
Troutmere is eco-friendly, and electricity is provided by solar panels. A generator is also available for back-up electricity. A cleaning service is available on request at an additional cost.
The form offers seven ponds for fishing, beautiful walking trails, and bird watching. Guests will also see roaming horses, and various small buck.
