Description
Troutswood Cottage is situated on a picturesque working farm located near the towns of Dullstroom and Belfast. The farm is home to a variety of farm animals as well as some species of buck while the dams on the farm have trout. The dams are stocked with rainbow and brown trout twice a year and guests are allowed to fish in the dams.
The property accommodates up to 4 guests and 2 small children in a 2-bedroom cottage with lovely views of a dam. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while 2 portable beds can be provided for children. The first bedroom features a fireplace, and the second has a heater. Both double beds have electric blankets. The first bathroom has a bath as well as a shower, while the second bathroom is fitted with a bath and an outdoor shower.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and cooking utensils. A braai area is available in the lounge, and on-site parking is provided.
Guests can enjoy fly-fishing, hiking, mountain biking and birdwatching on the farm or take a short drive to the nearby towns.
