Tuckaway Guesthouse is an independently situated, owner-run countryside retreat located on what was once the historic Broadlands Stud Farm in the peaceful rural heart of Somerset West. Surrounded by farmland, wetlands, indigenous gardens, and abundant birdlife, the guesthouse offers guests a tranquil and private farm-style escape whilst remaining conveniently close to beaches, wine estates, restaurants, and shopping centres.
Ideally positioned along the emerging Helderberg Wine Route, we are only 6 km from Gordon’s Bay and the popular Blue Flag Bikini Beach, and approximately 10 km from Somerset Mall with its shops, restaurants, and entertainment.
Accommodation is offered in a spacious private guest suite, ideal for couples, solo travellers, and business guests seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay. The suite features:

• Independent water supply with storage tanks
• Solar-powered Variable Speed Drive pressure pump system ensuring reliable water pressure
These upgrades help provide uninterrupted electricity, Wi-Fi, lighting, and water supply during power outages.
