House Rules
General Park rules
Loud noise is not permitted at any time, as the property is located within a nature reserve.
Walking, running, and cycling are not permitted between 18h00 and 06h00 for safety reasons.
Quad-bikes are not allowed in Marloth Park.
Animals may not be fed by hand. Feeding is permitted only with appropriate feed obtained from approved sources.
Rubbish must not be left unattended on the property, including in bags placed outside. Waste is to be disposed of at the designated waste depot to protect wildlife.
Pets are not allowed in Marloth Park.
Cutting of trees, trimming of bushes, and removal of natural vegetation are not permitted.
Spotlighting of animals is not permitted.
Fireworks are not permitted.
Firearms are not permitted.
Drones are not permitted.
Open fires - outside braai and fire pit - are prohibited due to fire hazard.
Driving behaviour
Speed limits must be adhered to at all times, with a maximum of 50 km/h on tar roads and 30 km/h on dirt roads.
Passengers must remain seated inside the vehicle at all times and may not be transported outside of designated seating areas.
It is not allowed to let children sit on the driver's lap.
Alcohol consumption is not permitted prior to driving.
It is forbidden to park outside designated parking areas or in your own yard.
Speed must be reduced further at night due to limited visibility and the possibility of animals crossing the road.
