Beauty beyond expectations The Boomhuis provided unique furnishings and an amazing layout. The best part about the Boomhuis was being able to view the beautiful surroundings since there were lookout out points from all sides of the home. This is the ideal destination to be surrounded by peace, quiet and natural beauty. We will definitely be visiting the Boomhuis again. An incredible experience where you are staying in such comfort but surrounded by the beauty of the bush. Highly recommend if you need food for the soul! We had an incredible 3 days at the Boomhuisie where we spotted so much wildlife before we even set out of the house. Izelle and Hugo, the farm managers went out of their way to assist us when we got lost as city dwellers do in the bush en route to the camp - we were truly grateful for that. We were made to feel welcome and pampered at every stage of our stay and having Johanna clean up the house was a real treat. Izelle, Hugo and Johanna make an awesome team. Would recommend taking a bottle of wine and cheese to the river's edge and plan on doing as little as possible. The decor in the house is stunning. There is something truly special about this destination and the people! Ideal for big groups and couples seeking peace. Will without a doubt be back.
