Uitvlugt Ponds is situated on a farm, 17 km from the picturesque town of Dullstroom.
Accommodation is offered in 2 self-catering units that operate on solar power and natural spring water. The units overlook the trout dams, surrounding wildlife, and beautiful countryside.
Evening Rise Cottage has a private entrance and offers double beds, single beds, and a private bathroom. Extra blankets and electric blankets are provided for added comfort. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, while meals can be enjoyed in the dining area. The cottage opens onto a patio with braai facilities and secure parking. A crate of firewood is provided, and the cottage also features a fireplace for the colder days.
Lake View Cottage is a spacious cottage comprising 3 en-suite bedrooms and a loft. The cottage features an indoor braai area and a fireplace, making it ideal for Dullstroom's chilly evenings. The first bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed, while the second and third bedrooms each have king-size beds that can be converted into 2 single beds. The loft accommodates up to 3 guests. Extra blankets and electric blankets are available for comfort. Each en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and meals can be enjoyed in the dining area. The cottage leads onto a patio with braai facilities, and secure parking is also provided.
The farm offers 2 Ama Poot-Poot hiking trails, and guests can enjoy mountain biking, fly fishing, bass fishing, swimming, and birdwatching. The property also features several rivers, dams, and waterfalls, where a variety of birdlife and wildlife can be seen.
