Umdeni Beach Cottage is a relaxed coastal escape nestled in Glenmore on the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. Surrounded by lush greenery, guests are often treated to special sightings of duikers, bushbuck and fish eagles right on the property – a peaceful reminder that you’re truly away from it all, yet still close to the beach.

The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 5 guests and offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it ideal for families or a small group of friends. The main bedroom features a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with both a bath and shower. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed, while the third bedroom is fitted with a ¾ bed. These rooms share a second bathroom, also equipped with a bath and shower.

The open-plan living area is designed for easy holiday living. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a breakfast bar for relaxed mornings. The adjoining lounge offers comfortable seating – perfect for unwinding with a book or enjoying quiet evenings together.

Sliding doors open onto a covered patio and lush garden, an inviting space to enjoy morning coffee, outdoor meals, or simply listen to the sounds of nature.

Glenmore offers the best of both worlds – from beach and river activities such as swimming, fishing and watersports, to nearby nature reserves, birdwatching, and a round of golf at the Wild Coast Sun Country Club, just a short drive away.
