umSisi Cottage offers upmarket self-catering accommodation in the Peebles Valley, close to White River, in Mpumalanga. The accommodation is ideal for small groups of friends and family wishing to explore the Kruger Lowveld region.
The cottage is exceptionally private with its own entrance, covered verandah and 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and the other bedroom has a king-size bed which can be converted into 2 single beds beds on request. The rooms share a bathroom with a double shower. Linen and towels are supplied.
The cottage has a functional kitchen fitted with a fridge-freezer, stove and oven, and cooking utensils. The unit offers a TV with a selection of DStv channels and free Wi-Fi. There is a braai and covered parking. The property is surrounded by an electric fence and a daily maid service is included. There is also an outside bush shower at the cottage if guests want to cool off.
The cottage is based in the grounds of umSisi House and provides unbeatable access to the Southern section of the Kruger National Park (via Paul Kruger Gate at 40 mins away, Phabeni Gate at 30 mins away and Numbi Gate at 20 mins away), the Panorama Route and all the adventure activity companies in the area. A selection of restaurants are on offer at the Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre and Bagdad Centre which are within a 15-minute drive of the cottage. umSisi Cottage can assist guests with booking any activities such as Kruger safaris and recommend that any activities are booked in advance during the school holiday season.
The cottage has a gas oven, hob and kettle, a Webber braai, gas geysers for hot water and a battery backup / inverter system to combat load shedding with lights, WiFi, DSTV and operational plugs if used wisely.
