Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R5000 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
In line with body corporate regulations, all local and international guests are required to be registered prior to arrival. Guest verification is mandatory to confirm the booking. The required information includes full names and surnames, contact details, clear copies of identity documents or passports, vehicle registration details where applicable, and the estimated time of arrival. This information is used solely for security clearance purposes and will remain strictly confidential. Failure to submit the required details timeously may result in a delay or denial of check-in.
A once-off booking fee of R395 is charged per booking. Rates are quoted per day. Advertised rates and minimum stay requirements are seasonal and subject to change. A departure cleaning fee is charged per booking.
A standard key and breakage deposit is payable prior to check-in. The amount is determined by the standard of the establishment and may be adjusted at the owner’s or management’s discretion.
For stays of 8 nights or longer, a complimentary mid-stay clean, including fresh linen, is provided. Additional cleaning services can be arranged on request with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice and will incur an additional charge.
Electricity usage is subject to a fair use policy, which allows for a reasonable daily allocation. In the unlikely event of excessive consumption, a reasonable surcharge may be applied.
St Helena Bay is a traditional fishing village with several fish factories located in the surrounding area. Depending on wind conditions, a fish odour from nearby factories may occasionally be noticeable. While this may form part of the coastal environment, it is not expected to detract from the overall stay. Established protocols and monitoring forums are in place to oversee air emissions from local fish factories.
