Description

Vyfster Die Ou Tronk offers comfortable accommodation in the historic old Britstown prison building, which has been renovated and converted into a guesthouse. Most of the original fixtures and fittings have been preserved, allowing guests to enjoy a glimpse into the past through photographs and engraved names that adorn the granite walls.

Accommodation is offered in 3 former prison cells that have been tastefully renovated and decorated.

Cell 1 is furnished with a queen-size bed as well as 2 single beds. The separate en suite bathroom is equipped with a shower, basin, and toilet.

Cell 3 consists of 2 single beds and a bathroom fitted with a shower over a bath.

Cell 4 is furnished with a queen-size bed. The bathroom is separate and fitted with a shower.

The Interrogation Room is a renovated former interrogation room that now serves as a family unit. This unit features 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom.

The Charge Office offers three bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-size bed. The unit also includes a small kitchenette, and guests share a bathroom. This unit is ideal for larger groups.

A small, intimate restaurant is located on the premises and is available exclusively to Vyfster guests.
