Wakene Campsite is a lovely self-catering campsite nestled behind the sand dunes situated in Wakene Beach Estate right along the coast in Ponta Malongane, approximately 17 km outside of Ponta do Ouro. It is ideal for friends and family who are looking for a peaceful homebase from where they can explore and enjoy this coastal destination.
This campsite comprises 12 private camping spots, each accommodating up to 10 guests. Each site has an ablution block fitted with a hot-water shower, basin and toilet, and features a kitchenette equipped with a fridge-freezer and 2-plate gas stove. In addition, there is a power point, a water tap and a braai.
The estate boasts direct beach access. Secure parking is available on the premises. Local amenities such as shops and restaurants are easily accessible. Activities to enjoy in the area include swimming, fishing, snorkelling, quad biking and paragliding.
