Value for money, peaceful. Real farm. We spent my birthday and Easter weekend on this beautiful farm in Wakkerstroom, and it was a truly special experience for us as a family. The farmhouse is exactly that — a real farmhouse. It is spacious, clean and full of character, with well-kept wooden floors and a feel that takes you back to another era. It felt like you were stepping back into the 1920s… only with electricity and WiFi. If you are expecting a modern 5-star guesthouse, this is not it — but that is exactly what makes it so special. We spent hours outside on the large lawn, braaiing and enjoying the open space, and in the evenings sitting on the carpet inside and telling ghost stories — real family time, as it should be. Special mention to Olga who looked after us so beautifully. Her morning mieliepap was incredible, and it was a real treat to have a set table for meals. The farm itself is truly impressive — wide, peaceful and something you have to experience for yourself to appreciate. If you want to live a slower life, get away from the hustle and bustle, and are looking for a genuine farm experience with lots of character, this is the place.

In all respects an enjoyable experience. Yes, definitely. The house is beautiful and the friendly welcome and hospitality will surely make for a pleasant stay, with delicious meals. Everything possible is done to meet the needs of guests.
