Warthogs Rest is a beautiful lodge nestled in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, located in the small farming town of Hoedspruit. With close proximity to a number of private game reserves, the Kruger National Park, various animal sanctuaries, and offering plenty of rustic accommodation, Hoedspruit offers the ideal holiday destination away from the crowds.
The accommodation comprises a thatch-roof house featuring 4 air-conditioned bedrooms and each furnished with twin single beds or a double bed. There is a full en-suite bathroom in each of the bedrooms. Room 1 has an additional outdoor shower and Room 3 has an additional outdoor shower and bathtub under the stars.
The house features a kitchen, dining area, and lounge. The earthy kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, a kettle, coffee machine, and basic cooking utensils. There is an air-conditioner, comfortable couches and an 8-seater dining table in the spacious living area. The dining area opens onto the courtyard which features a wooden deck, braai area, outdoor dining area for 8, plunge pool and ample seating areas. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi.
Visitors can enjoy a number of wildlife or birdlife experiences within the reserve or experience game drives, off-road cycling, horse riding or hiking in the area.
