Welverdiend Selfsorg Akkommodasie is situated on a farm just off the N7, making it the perfect accommodation for travellers from Cape Town to Springbok, Upington, and Namibia.
This farm is actively working and offers 2 self-catering units, Kokerboom and Alwyn, with beautiful views of the Gifberg Mountains.
Kokerboom comprises 1 bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a kitchenette. Alwyn has a living area, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a bathroom. The first bedroom has a double bed, and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom has a shower, a basin, and a separate toilet. These facilities are shared between the two rooms. Air-conditioning, fans, and heaters are available.
Each kitchenette features a microwave, a one-plate stove, and a fridge/freezer. Furthermore, Braai facilities and safe parking are available.
Kokerboom comes with a TV and Wi-Fi, and DStv is available at extra cost.
Welverdiend Selfsorg Akkommodasie is in the middle of the Olifants River Wine Route. Guests can enjoy wine tastings at various cellars in the area. The Klawer Cellar is approximately 9 km from the property. During August and September, the Namaqualand wildflowers make their appearance. This area is also ideal for hiking, jogging, and cycling.
