Breakage Deposit

House Rules
Please note that White Sparrow Villa is not a party house and is best suited to guests seeking a peaceful and quiet retreat surrounded by nature. Guests are kindly requested to maintain a calm and serene atmosphere during their stay.
Marloth Park is a unique, registered wildlife conservancy with strict regulations in place to protect both the environment and the peace of the community. Loud noises, including music, are not permitted, as sound travels further in the bush than in urban areas. Guests are asked to keep noise levels to a minimum at all times, especially after dark. This rule is strictly enforced by Marloth Park Law Enforcement Officers from 18:00 onwards.
The house operates on a small solar-powered system, excluding the air conditioning. A daily electricity allowance is provided for air-conditioning use, and any additional usage will require the purchase of prepaid electricity.
During load shedding, the air conditioners will not function; however, rechargeable fans are available and can last up to 8 hours to ensure guest comfort.
Guests are requested to leave the house in a clean condition upon check-out. Please wash dishes, dispose of all rubbish, and return furniture and items to their original positions.
For safety, always ensure that windows and doors are properly closed and locked, particularly when unattended. This helps protect both guests and their belongings.
Baboons are known to be clever and persistent. When leaving the property, ensure that all windows, doors, curtains, and security doors are securely closed and locked. While baboons are a common concern, general safety awareness should always be maintained.
Marloth Park is home to various wildlife, including potentially dangerous snakes. Guests are advised to remain vigilant when walking under trees, entering or exiting the property, or getting in and out of vehicles. An emergency contact list for snake removal services is available on the fridge.
Children must be supervised at all times, both inside and outside the property, as the surrounding bush is home to wildlife that may pose risks.
Please note that due to local infrastructure challenges such as weather conditions, cable theft, and other factors beyond the control of the property owner, a no-refund policy applies for any disruptions to electricity, water, or Wi-Fi services. Every effort will be made to monitor and resolve such issues in collaboration with local authorities, and guests will be kept informed accordingly.
