Superfantasties. We had a great time camping, the kids really enjoyed it. Quickly put down their cellphones and played "outside". We drove down a very nice rough dirt road to the campsite. The campsites are on nice green grass and we basically camped by the river. The kids could play safely in the river while we braaied right there. The bathroom is large and 'rustic'. Just the way we like it. Never felt unsafe anywhere. The dam water was surprisingly warm and the kids rode the canoe/boats. We had a picnic at the dam in the afternoon. We also walked to the waterfalls. The kids walked in the river together the whole time. Will definitely come back. Oh yes, we could buy wood there, big bags of wood.

It was wonderful. The 4x4 route was beautiful. We had a great stay on the farm. Even though it rained on Saturday, the hostess made sure we had something to do with the kids and told us about the barn where there was a pool table and table tennis. It was lovely.

A true 4x4 campsite that delivers in every respect. A magnificent setting in the mountains near Riversdale. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and visited us soon after we reached the remote site to check if we were okay and whether we needed anything. This is a site that can only be reached with a 4x4 offroad vehicle, and the basic ablutions, complete with wood-fired geyser, rounded off the experience superbly.

Breathtaking views! Absolutely beautiful! Second time we have been there, this time with friends. Lovely nature walks, clean dam and charming hosts. Grass, hot water and 360-degree views. A little hidden gem.
